The condominium staircase: no problem with the V64

Anne, who has lived in a condominium since 1999, tells us that she is now unfortunately confined to a wheelchair after having undergone a surgical procedure a couple of years ago.

The condominium has a lift, and my flat is on the ground floor, but unfortunately there are four steps to be overcome to reach floor 0, and these make it difficult to reach my home.

The choice of a platform lift wasn’t an easy one for me, nor for several other residents who scoffed at the idea; fortunately the law was on my side, and I was permitted to install this lift, the cost of which was shared with another elderly lady in the building. The installers worked very quickly, and we now have a system that, despite being used just a few times a day, allows us to be independent, and we no longer need to constantly ask our relatives or neighbours for help.

The system is quiet and occupies minimal space in its closed position, and now all the other residents are happy with it, because they’ve realised that it’s unobtrusive.
