ISO 14001 certification is a voluntary international regulation, which can be implemented by any type of public or private organisation and which specifies the requirements of an environmental management system.
Obtaining ISO 14001 certification guarantees that Vimec has a Company Management System relating to the quality aspects of the products and services offered, and relating to environmental aspects, which can support the company in managing the health and safety of workers and corporate social responsibility.
The Company Management System has been certified by DNV and does not represent for Vimec a simple formal or promotional fulfilment.
It is a fundamental element of guarantee for the stakeholders (owners, employees, suppliers, customers and collaborators): it is a support tool for investment decisions or technological change, ensuring a systematic and prearranged approach to environmental emergencies.
